| Benefits of Aikido |
Exercise your Ki!
With Aikido's unique training style you can practice to create and
harness your ki (powerful life force). Unlike other arts, this energy
work happens not in a kata or ritualized form but with fun one-on-one
training.
Its like sparring but without any competition, so everyone
-- women or men, young or old, large or small -- can practice safely together.

| How to Join |
For people new to Aikido, joining a class can be both exciting and
nervewracking. There are many options available to help make the transition to
regular class easier.
The Shobu Beginner's Program is an 8-week program designed for new students
with no Aikido experience. Aikido basics are stressed with a focus on martial
art fundamentals. At the end of the program, or before, students will be
prepared to enter regular Aikido classes. A new program starts the first
saturday of every month. Please sign-up and join us!
View the How To Join section for options for
non-experienced and experienced aikidoka alike.
